Reflecting on 2024: Highlights, Milestones, and What’s Coming in 2025

As we look back at 2024, it’s been an exciting year for WKRP Montrose. From memorable guest interviews to new segments and community events, we’ve had a blast growing together. This past year, we’ve tackled local issues, shared some laughs, and dug deep into stories that matter to our Montrose community.

Throughout 2024, WKRP Montrose had the opportunity to showcase the incredible diversity and resilience of people in our community. Steve Baskis, a U.S. Army veteran who lost his sight 17 years ago, spoke with us about his extraordinary adventures all around the country. His story serves as a powerful example of how life’s biggest challenges can be met with resilience and courage.

We also explored the world of Cousin Curtiss, a rising star in Root Stomp Music who chose Montrose as his home base. His episode highlighted how local talent continues to thrive and grow in the heart of our town, blending creative ambition with strong community ties.
